Iggy could have a rough February, like Matthews did last year, in which he is now well scouted and unable to respond. IMO there will be lasting improvement from 3 from Simpson and Teske, but small improvement. Teske's got some more arc under his shot lately. Good to see Simpson can one two games in a row. So I think Poole is going to have to step up as the #1 option and do it without forcing. And I think they'll start to dig in on defense a little bit more, as it becomes clear that offense isn't going to be easy anymore.
Sparty looking formidable. That team fits together so much better than last year's version. Winston and Ward have taken real steps.Comment

FUGLY. They haven't defended with pride in a long while. Poole let a guy get from 25 feet out to the bucket with 4 seconds left on the shot clock. Simpson's misses from 3 aren't embarassing ones though, if looking for a silver lining. But this team needs to dig in and defend, because the 3s aren't reliable.Comment
