      You were certainly right yesterday!

      • I wasn't surprised by the outcome. Even though Purdue is ranked, I thought we'd win by double-digits. It's a weird feeling though. I'm sure a tight game will come at some point but I'm thinking it might not be for a while. I suppose Tuesday at NW could be a test but I kind of doubt it. I had an on-the-court seat for their loss there last year and I think Michigan will be plenty motivated for some payback.

        • Missed it, will catch the replay tonight. 3-0 so far in potential losses. But, wow. We can officially start worrying about them peaking too soon.

Or just enjoy some beautiful basketball.

            • I could also say that it's very possible that they haven't peaked yet. None of the 4 other Freshman have made a significant contribution. I expect at least one to show in-season improvement. Michigan could also improve at the line, Teske could improve from 3 (which may have started yesterday), Simpson still hasn't had a breakout offensive game, and I think Austin Davis can be a little more effective than he's shown thus far.

              • Does anyone know if the NCAA adjusted the redshirt rules in hoops as well? I noticed that Castleton didn't play in either game this week, despite them being blowouts so I'm wondering if Beilein is saving his eligibility.

                • Beilein's definitely going to have to keep it interesting. If he can keep adding to the offense throughout the year, this is a real opportunity to execute the pants off the teams with more of a one-and-done approach.

                  • M ranked #5.
Can't really see that ranking getting better after this week. Gonzaga is the only team ahead of M with tough games this week.
It's more likely M loses @ Northwestern than Duke, Kansas, or Virginia losing.

                    • Would very much like to be a #1 seed on the same side of the bracket at Virginia. Or Kansas.

                      • Interesting game tonight. First Big Ten roadie of the season. UM always seems to have a tough time in Evanston. Hopefully it'll be a low stress evening

                        • It would be nice, actually, to see the team play a tight game rather than coast through a blowout.

Provided we end up in the win column by game's end, then sure I guess.

                            • Xavier is disgusting. Two sweeping hooks in the lane just for kicks.
