lmao I give them a pass, but if it makes you happy - last year was the second worst QB play. Won't help your ridiculous Walker is better than Higdon

Nothing against Walker, but I'm not sure what you saw in those 68 yards that so inspired you.

I said several times it was the way he finished his runs, so just read my posts if you actually do want to know.
But why do you think citing one stat makes your point? They didn't run behind the same OL. The depth chart ahead of them didn't look the same when they came in. They're not the same player. And as you know Walker had some off-the-field disciplinary issues, so he didn't get to pad his stats early in the season. I bet you more than half of Evans' yards as a frosh came against shit teams. I do recall the first or second game of the year he had a 60-yarder against whatever MAC team they were playing that day. It's to Walker's detriment that he hadn't earned carries until the latter half of the season, but that has nothing to do with his on-field ability. I think it's silly to think one data point tells a whole story.

Team QB rating of 115.5 in 2017 and 95.2 in 2008. But Wingsfan thinks 2017 was the worst QB play in school history

Exactly like that. It's a stupid point. It's also stupid to have an incredulous reaction to the notion that the only five-star back on the roster might have the most potential at the position. But you read my post in the narrowest way possible, choosing to ignore the clear caveat, so I returned the favor by reading your post in the narrowest way possible. In that post you just quoted I copied the structure, wording and even the punctuation you used. I even quoted that post right above mine, just to hammer the point home. I guess that wasn't enough.

The embarrassment continues...
The off season would not be complete without mike dantonio trolling Michigan. The Holiday Bowl ring has the Michigan/Sparty 14-10 score on it, just like they did with the Cotton Bowl ring.

I think it's fine. It should sting if that's some of what Harbaugh needs to reverse his atrocious record against two of M's biggest rivals. Speaking of that, soundly beating ND in SB or wherever they play that game (there was a rumor a couple of seeks ago that the game was potentially moving to Soldier field in Chicago), would be a nice start to reversing a not so great trend in his M coaching tenure on a number of different levels.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

...... speaking of the osu/M rivalry or "The Game," here's a piece from my second favorite blog, Eleven Warriors. The main point is that the importance, both regional and national, of the osu/M rivalry is becoming nearly extinct as measured by what the entering freshman class at osu this fall knows about it. This class was born in 2000. Between 2001, when jim tressel arrived and 2011 when he departed, osu went 9-1 v. M. By the time Jim Harbaugh arrived at M - the RR, Hoke years - osu was 13-2 v. M. Now, with Harbaugh entering his 4th year as M's HC, osu is 16-2 v. M.
As osu's entering Freshman come to c-bus this fall, they will have watched Michigan beat ohio state ONCE. Let that sink in for a moment. For them, I doubt there is any sense of a rivalry at all, albeit they will become imbued with it as life on osu's campus unfolds for them.
For those of us who were around for the john cooper days, where he went 2-10-1 v. M, we may still feel like The Game is a rivalry. Anyone who watched CFB during the "Ten Year War" between Woody Hayes and Bo Schembechler, there is still a sense of the rivalry, at least for me there is.
My view is that if JH wants to leave a legacy at M befitting of the hype he arrived in Ann Arbor 3 years ago with, he MUST win at osu in 2018 and continue to be competitive, winning these games more than losing the close ones over the next 5-10 years.
The survival of "The Game" depends on it.
