Defense had a lot to cope with tonight, but it's very hard to say they did a good job. They found matchups that worked and Michigan struggled to respond.
Issue with the defense was we could see the matchup issues pre snap. Safeties, and McCray exploited in coverage, again and again. They knew two other LBs were likely blitzing and it backfired.
No answer for those matchup issues. By far the best team played all year, so it's reasonable to think they might surrender more points, but they haven't won very many snaps at all. Less than 10.
Very glad to see there might be some life in the offense. Nice to see Higdon build on what he did last week; nice to see O'Korn starting to look comfortable and making nice throws. Now go home, find things to build on, and be ready for OSU.
