This offense sucks. Top to bottom. Speight, while not great is definitely not the issue today. The oline is not playing well at all.

Speight not being able to complete passes is what allows every team Michigan plays to run blitz them every other down.

Well there are constantly 8 and 9 guys in the box. There were 10 on the last play. The few Speight passes that someone has actually caught have all gone for big yardage because there is no safety help. But we keep running and they keep blitzing because both sides know Michigan's QB can't string together accurate passes downfield.

There's no aggressive play calling at all. Harbaugh understands Speight sucks too. He also has no alternative.

TBF our drop-back-passing-with-a-statue-QB scheme is a problem today too. A hyper aggressive defense is kryptonite for an offense like ours. You can blitz our QB without getting punished.

Watching overmatched opponents slowly gain steam and enthusiasm when it becomes apparent the offense can't score is a very troubling trend.
