  • We'll be favored and should win. That's not really a game I'm too worried about.

    • FL rarely (if ever) plays OOC game out of their state. Still taking FL in this one, Speighty on the big stage doing his silhouette.

      • Not sure I've seen this posted before but for those of you who don't/can't read the Detroit News there is so much good in this article. The Harbaugh's attempt(s) at whatever they do just seems to have such an honest and sincere ring to it. Not that he won't have some moments in the future, but what a great get for the kids and the university.

        • Since 2014, Michigan has not had a night home game, but that is about to change.
Athletic Director, Warde Manuel - “When the schedules come out, we can have up to two night games.”

One of the games might be Sparty, that is if Dantonio can get a work release program for them to travel at night.

          OSU-Michigan is still off-limits.

          • In the past, the MSU game has been off limits.

            • Per mgoblog, we are trying to get out of our home-at-home with Washington. We already dropped Arkansas, who we were supposed to play next year.

I understand the rationale for playing 9 conference games, and it is probably the right thing to do. With that said, it has a big downside.

              • Washington is going to be really good going forward, they'll be challenging for PAC 12 championships.

Wasn't Arkansas dropped for Notre Dame? And if I recall right are last game with them was at South Bend and the next one is at SB. Two road game in a row vs Sparty and now Notre Dame... Why don't we just travel to Columbus this year for the trifecta vs hated rivals?

                  • Arkansas was dropped for ND. But with only 8 conference games, I think that we probably find a way to keep that one since in the past we have had lots of 4-game OOC schedules with two quality teams. With only 3 OOC games you've got to make some tough choices. The interesting OOC games that we have seen the past few years will probably gradually disappear as programs calibrate their schedules.

Fuck. A buddy and I were already making plans on going to the games together.

                        • I like Nick Baumgardner's stuff from mogolive. I usually dont pay any attetntion to the spring practice hype but there's some good points made here about Peters v Speight; picked up from an mgoblog post.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                          • I've heard the same about Tarik Black, terrific ability to highpoint the ball and always brings it down. That's really valuable to have in an athletic, 6'4" receiver...

If Runyan can be a solid B1G right tackle, I have a far less worries concerning the offensive line. Depth chart at OT is thin and JBB looked like a true freshman (he was a rs-So?) out there last season.

                              • Hiring Frey was JH's best hire of his tenure.

I think Don Brown was a good hire too but he has had and continues to have talent and he's even remarked that is M's edge on defense.

The OL has been a mess for longer than I can remember - lack of talent, injuries and the like have contributed but development hasn't been a strong suit, it appears and if reports are accurate, until Frey showed up.
