A week old but, yeah, practices have started. It's "Christmas Camp" and you don't here much about it. Started on December 11th with conditioning drills. M can have 15 bowl game practices. This week is like any bye week. The week before the game on 12/31, like any other game week.
Nick Baumgardner's piece also does a nice review of who's leaving and who's coming back and which new names will be stepping into starting roles or filling the two deep.

Anticlimactic after the osu theft job, but I might watch the game. If I do, Dalvin Cook will probably have a career day.Last edited by Rocky Bleier; December 20, 2016, 12:22 PM.I'll let you ban hate speech when you let me define hate speech.

You'll be in high anticipation mode by Friday, 12/30 and glued to the set at game time.
Cook is good but this D can limit his output.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

I hope it's well remembered not just next November, but for many to come. Should go down in the history of the game as a pretty ugly episode. At this point is it justified to expect Michigan to play with the anger and focus MSU does against us. At this point, they've felt enough pain to expect that sort of thing.

FWIW I don't think that they lacked emotion this year. They are just hampered by an archaic approach to running the football that nobody has successfully used to run on a good defense for about 25 years, and they lack the QB to make up for it.
