Aside from the spot there were four third-down judgement calls on a PI and each were decided in favor of Ohio.

Jim Harbaugh says the ref told him he was penalized for throwing headset and papers because "It would have been a technical in basketball."

Harbaugh replied "This is not basketball!"

Perfectly reasonable, competent and non-biased crew for the biggest game of the year.

What's the normal process for picking the refs?

Harbaugh was penalized mostly for throwing his playcard out on the field. This was showing up the refs. He then slammed his headset down in front of him . Meyer threw his in back of himself.

That being said, I can definitely see how Mich fans would be pissed.

That is amazing that they put those refs on the field for that game. Unless the rest of the crew are Michigan based refs and UM fans, that seems like a huge oversight by the big ten.
