Not to sound like Hanni, but pretty disappointed so far in this game. Started out well, but seem to have completely lost our edge ... surprised to see that in a senior-laden JH-coached team.

Giving up sacks, TFL's, and our D is not getting the sustained pressure on the QB that we have seen in other games.

Expect Sparty, Iowa, and O-state to add this game film to Colorado and Wisky to identify various weaknesses to exploit.

Look ...... there were plenty of folks talking about the Illini's DL. They're decent.

They were scouted good enough by M's coaching staff to take JBB out of the lineup at L-OT. I think Bredenson moved out there and Braden was put in at LG. Seems to be working OK.

Something positive to take form this game is Speight's performance. He's 15/22 and his throws have been authoritative and crisp. We kinda knew Illinois has issues with slants and post routes. He's made those throws along with some other long balls.
