Onwenu was going to play this season regardless, best he gets time vs Hawaii, UCF to see what he needs to work on...

I just don't like putting an opponent down, characterizing them as soft, before the contest has been finished. Hawaii isn't soft they're just not a very good or talented team. I'd love to see Michigan unleash a good-old fashioned opening day butt-whipping on Hawaii, because the Warriors have a history of playing thuggish football. They did that when we went out there in '86, and they did it a few years back when they came to East Landfill.

The only reason Peppers would not start is if he's injured.
Or, if he ran into some other problem like grades or behavior issues. Neither of which have been a problem for him in the past.

If it's peppers and it's intended to send a message, fine but hate it that we won't be able to see what Brown has in mind for his D. Peppers, as a hybrid LB, is a key part of that.
