Hawaii is no cream puff. They play hard nosed, tough football. They made a lot of careless mistakes against Cal but they've got one game under their belt to M's none.
What they don't have is talent that matches up well with what M will put on the field. That is particularly true of their OL v. M's DL and M's receivers (esp. M's bevy of big TEs and guys like Butt) v. their back end unit.
I think they'll have a hard time stopping M but like every team that plays Michigan, they'll load the box and make Speight throw the ball. They'll also blitz the shit out of him. If they didn't blitz Cal on just about every 1st or 3rd down, I just missed it. Against Cal, I didn't see great penetration or edge rushing with all this blitzing. I think M's OL will handle it.
The point is that these guys will play hard and don't seem to be intimidated by the first two teams on their schedule.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. Respect your opponent. We're obviously not playing ourselves but until M stops producing embarrassing loses and starts winning consistently with dominating football.
