The Guardians really can't win if Jose Ramirez and Clase are schmucks for them. The fact that they are 3-3 in the postseason under those circumstances is stunning.
But, there's now been 4 separate times where my wife and son were running around the house screaming like banshees -- and 2 were last night. So, it's still been a beautiful thing.
And there is nothing like baseball -- ain't no clock to milk or rush against or anything -- ya gotta get 27 outs. You may be up by 2 with no one on and have 26 of them outs, but ya still gotta get that last one. It's a fantastic thing.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Unless you actually lived through Fernando-mania you would never believe how BIG it actually was. For a full summer he was easily the biggest name in baseball and probably American sports. It waned a little, as all explosive starts do, but man...what a time...
He even overshadowed Dale Murphy.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Yeah, came here to post that El Toro had died. He wasn’t the best pitcher ever, or even of his era, but he seemed to be a genuinely nice guy and helped usher in a Hispanic zeitgeist in MLB in the early 80’s."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
