The A’s have yet to win their 10th game of the year. It’s May 16 and they are 9-34 (.209). 17 games out in the AL West. Woof.
Also, after being swept by the Jays, the Braves no longer have the best record in the NL. The Braves are 26-15 (.634). The Dodgers are 27-15 (.643). We had a game postponed last month due to inclement weather to August.
The Rays still have the best record in baseball at 31-11 (.738).

I saw a video over the weekend of two guys at an A's game getting harassed by an usher for standing in the front row of the upper deck about 45 minutes before gametime. Can't stand here unless you've got tickets! Go back to your real seats! That sort of thing. Place was absolutely deserted. Talent you'll get a kick out of this story...I had beers the other night with Joba Chamberlain at a bar in Lincoln. I asked him if he meant to plunk Jeter when he pitched for the Tiggers...he just smiled and said...no. Heh.
