Nebraska was solid in 2012. They won, ummm, the Legends division....or Leaders...and made it to the B10 CG. They managed to hold Wisconsin to 70, then put up a game fight in the CapOne to close out 10-4. I mean, 10-win seasons don't grow on trees in Nebraska....assuming trees actually grow in Nebraska.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
The Braves obviously saw something they liked, and will now bring Cano back to the NL East to see if he can revive his career. Atlanta has developed a knack for striking gold on struggling veterans, and it was only a year ago that the club picked up several such players (i.e. Eddie Rosario, Jorge Soler, Joc Pederson, Adam Duvall) who ended up fueling their run to the World Series title. As poor as Cano looked earlier this season in New York, Mets fans must have some trepidation over Cano suddenly catching fire and helping Atlanta overtake the Mets in the NL East.
My buddy who I planned the big Malort retirement party is a big Cubs fan. He told me that no one who moves to Chicago (he’s from Sheboygan originally) is a White Sox fan and the only CWS fans are people who live near Comisky/Guaranteed Rate and people who have dads who were fans or know one of the players.
You moved to Chicago when you worked for that white shoe firm. You became a Cubs fan. Why? Did you ever consider the CWS? Or as my friend put it, “No one chooses the White Sox unless they just have to.”

I hate the fucking Cubs. I hate their fans with an almost CFB-level passion. I definitely preferred the Sox, but I never rooted for them (unless they were playing the Cubs).
Cubs fans redefine bandwagon and their glib indifference is absolutely sickening to any sports fan that actually cares.
Now, I love Wrigley. But if sit in the bleachers it’s more like going to a really expensive bar.
So, yeah —Fuck the Cubs and Fuck you insufferable Louisiana ass for so casually suggesting otherwise. I’ll see you in hell!
Sheboygan is a great little town. I stayed there before meandering over to Johnsonville for their sausage festival. It’s a town of roughly 40. The festival is next to the fire station. The average age of the attendees is about 65. All you do is eat brats, drink beer and dance polkas. Fucking glorious.

All my favorite pro sports teams are Chicago based...except the Cubs. They can burn in hell with Bartman lighting their arses on fire...
I could sworn I remember you attending Cubs games. Even with a poster on some forum we haunted (Becky?). Coulda sworn. Guess I’m mistaken. First time for everything, I guess.
