Meh. I kind of like the logo. But the name is clunky and can't be shortened into a good nickname like "Tribe" was. And explaining "why Guardians?" involves a "too long did not read" story about Cleveland architecture.

Its too bad some smart people didn't meet together and find a way to pay proper respect to the native American people in the area, and select a name that reflected that. I've mentioned before how Central Michigan met with the Chippewa Indians in the area, and found a way to keep the Chippewa name, but do it in a way that brought honor to the people and their tribe. Its now a partnership where both the school and the tribe have prospered. The tribe has free advertising for their various venues in the area, and the school didn't have to change their name.
