    Shut the fuck up Donny!

    • Good god. Any name like “Defenders” (or any synonym of that) is the most ridiculous effeminate name imaginable. Thank Odin we haven’t changed the name to something like that. If we ever did, I would not only stop being a fan, I would absolutely root against the organization for bending to such stupidity.

      • I'm assuming Cobb County Peaches is out of the question.

        • What about Pecans? Everybody likes pecans. Ain't been any "Braves" running around north Georgia since Andy Jackson shipped them all to Oklahomey.

          • That would absolutely be better than “Defenders” or any iteration of that.

Hopefully, we just stick with “Braves” - it’s not a racial epithet or anything to apologize about or change.

                • Pecans wouldn't work. It's pronounced like 8 fucking different wsys. Peaches are about as feminine as DSL.

                  How about the ATL Wizards?

                          • Oh, various sportswriters pen articles on how a new name should be adopted on a regular basis. As far as I know new management/ownership has never considered it. It was much more in danger when we were owned by Liberty Media and before that, Time-Warner.
