bah ... sucks to lose after coming that far, but man what a great comeback late in the season by these Tigers.

Cleveland is probably better equipped to take on the Yankees, but it would have been nice to have the ALCS at Comerica.

Watch out next year for the AL Central. Cleveland, Detroit, KC and Minnesota will all be good. Slowly becoming the best division in the AL, and maybe even in baseball.

Skubal’s shutout streak ended at 28.2 innings. That’s a phenomenal run, especially considering the stretch run into the postseason.

The gritty Tigs did their fans proud. Hell of a run.

I'm going to have nightmares about Rocchio, Kwan and Thomas all off-season. The teams looked like mirror images of each other with Cleveland being a little better. Good season for the Tigers as I thought a season slightly over .500 was a best case scenario. I probably watched or listened to every game after they sold at the deadline to see what they have when they called up the rookies, the whole playoff run was shocking. At times it had a 35-5 feel to it.

Key stat of the series was the Tigers struck out 17 more times than Cleveland. If some of those Ks are little cue ball infield hits like the Guardians had, maybe the series ends differently. But again that's baseball, the BABIP gods can be cruel.

OMG Kwan. What a great lead-off hitter. I figure that’s what it must have been like playing against Pete Rose in his prime. Every time I looked up that fucker was on base.

Rochio has consistently improved into a credible hitter. Great glove.

Kwan is just good.

Thomas puts some good swings on pitches. He’s probably 4th best hitter?

Central is gonna be tough.
