        Must be August.
The Braves are now 3rd in the NL East.

        Sad, really…

            • Where's the love for the Tigers? I thought that with them in the thick of a wildcard race for the first time in forever, a few here might be fired up.

This thread has been hijacked by Braves and "guardians" fans now. Tiger fans are still in a wait and see mode, I think.

To that I say: WTF is a "Guardian"??!

Good to see you again here on the forum, Liney--- will you be attending any Michigan games this season?

Doug called me last week and invited me to come to his tailgate party either today or for the Minnesota game. I'm obviously not there today, but the Minnesota game remains a possibility, but I'll probably just sit at the tailgate camp rather than go to the game. I can't make that walk anymore. And even if I went, sitting in the stadium for 4 hours jammed in like sardines isn't my idea of fun these days.

I went to the Big Ten Championship game in Indy last season, and that was fun, but our seats were like watching a football game from the top of a 7 story building. The game was fun, but my knees still hollered at me all night afterward.

                              • Guardians is a horrible name. If through political correctness they had to change, they should a went with the Blue Sox (stockings). There is some history there with that name going back to 1869.
