Happy to see Tennessee vs Georgia is competitive… for now… BIG IF of Georgia loses and ending the season 9-3. I’m curious if a 3 loss Georgia team would get in the CFP over some 1 loss teams (like IU, SMU…).

Georgia is a good team. They have wildly underperformed. The fact that they’re a two-loss suckbutt is completely on Kirby. He should be fired with haste. Then shot, buried, dug up, and shot again.

I do like that Kelly had lost three straight. My fear is they fire him and actually hire a good coach.

And it looks like Bama is barreling toward the SECCG.

It’s crazy, but if we win out we’re much better off not going to the SECCG. We win out, and we should, we’re in the CFP. But we are badly banged up. It would be much better to have time to heal.

IOW, we are in the playoff if we beat Oklahoma and Auburn, but if we beat Oklahoma and Auburn and limp into Atlanta and lose to Texas in the SECCG, we are probably getting punished for making the game and getting left outta the CFP.

I'm surprised that Brian Kelly hasn't been shuffled out the door of CFB to the world of retired/fired football coaches as a TV analysts. IMO, he represents everything repulsive that is associated with bad actors in leadership roles. He should not be coaching CFB, period.

No other coach could have sent a kid to his death by demanding that the kid climb an unstable 40-ft scissor lift in a gale (to film fucking practice) and kept his job. The kid texting that he was scared that he was going to die before he actually, you know, died is incredibly sad. Imagine if that were your son.

The insular nature of Notre Dame allowed it, but any other coach at any other school woulda been run out of town on a rail. Instead, Father Pontius Mulcahy (or whatever) wrote a nominal check and washed his hands to absolve himself, the school, and Kelly.

TAMU (15) and South Carolina (19) are in the second 10.
