Against all sanity, Alabama is -3 in Neyland tomorrow. Do yourself a favor and load up on the Vols. You can pay off your mortgage, retire early, buy a Lambo. Whatever you want.
Trust me, this team that struggled with SoFla, lost to Vandy, and should have lost to Georgia and South Carolina WILL get bounced by the Vols. We should be a 3-loss suckbutt, and arguably even a 4-loss
I am not kidding. It’s free money. I would never steer you wrong.
Hopefully, you people listened. It was my largest wager in over 3 years. Just. Easy. Money.
Anyway. Milroe is a lotta things. Great kid. He’s not a QB in a pro style attack. Until we figure that out, this will happen again and again.

Earlier in this decade, the trend in CFB, and even the pros, was to become a pass heavy, RPO capable O featuring big strong mobile QBs capable of running the du jour spread offense of the day. Defenses figured out how to stonewall this type of offense within the last 4 years or so. Hence the trend back to power football, yes, hopefully with an RPO capability along with big, fast receivers who could fight for contested throws and come down with them.
IMV, as isolated examples, both Bama's Deboer and M's Moore fucked-up trying to find some kind of hybrid mix between power and spready football. That created the by-word to describe offenses without an identity. They recruited guys like Milroe and Orji then tried to pigeon hole them into offenses they couldn't execute.
You're seeing the result of that fuck-up in previous but recent power house CFB teams like M and UAT.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
Our “brand” is so strong that the CFP committee put us in the first poll even though we had two losses before Halloween and one of those losses was Vandy.
We are an Outback Bowl (at best) team.

Geez, you don't have to come in here and brag about it.
