Early SEC lines:
-Georgia -2.5 at Bama.
-Oklahoma -2.5 at Auburn
Take both favorites in this. Georgia is just a better team, specifically on both lines and Auburn is in disarray. Freeze may right the ship, but losing begets losing and lack of cohesiveness as a team.
The only SEC dog I’m interested in (at the moment) is Arkansas +10.5 at TAMU. I think it likely that the Hogs cover. Not a ton of confidence in either team. It might be worth throwing a few dollars on it, though.
And on dogs: I’m much better at picking favs to cover than dogs. I’m 68.1% on wagers picking favs to cover and only 55.7% with dogs going back to September of 2021. This year alone, I’m 72.7% with favs and a brutal 47.4% taking dogs.

The Alabama OL was abused vs USF and early on vs Wisconsin. Yeah, we won, but the line had more holes than Swiss cheese. Wisconsin and USF weren’t able to fully capitalize on that. I would pick Georgia to win, but will be rooting for a close game and Bama win. Georgia gets revenge for the SEC championship game from 2023. They had it circled on their calendar for months as payback.

Revenge doesn’t matter. Past results don’t matter. Talent matters. Specifically line and QB play. WRs and RBs are made much better or much worse because of those two aforementioned positions.
