Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

Hating on the $EC - Mostly Alabama (and a little Georgia too)

  • Georgia, Texas, and maybe Ohio State look heads and shoulders above everyone else. Tennessee might be in that group, too.

The Buckeyes look very good, but it’s bad comp. They don’t play a team with a pulse until October 12 (maybe September 28, but Mich State is hard to have faith in).

Alabama is very flawed. 8-4 is probably our basement and 10-2 our ceiling. We were leading USF 14-13 at home with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Georgia and Tennessee will skull drag us.

                  • There is some definite SEC bias:

Six of the top seven in the AP poll are from the SEC. The problem is, the SEC is down. Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee are legit. The rest are fair to middlin’.

The official page for the AP Top 25 college football poll, a tradition since 1936. Keep up to date and view the latest ranking updates each week.

Congrats to Nebraska for getting a spot.

                      • Yeah, we beat the Badgers by 32 at Camp Randall, but we did not look good doing it. It took us taking their starting QB out (questionably, I might add!). This is Wisconsin’s biggest home loss since 2006, but we had to play dirty to do it.

                        I am very ashamed. Very.
