People, don’t let the score fool you. Alabama limped past Western Kentucky. WKU, last year, had an 8-5 record and went to the “Famous Toastery” bowl. They are a very bad team.
Alabama is headed for some real trouble. Last year, we struggled with South Florida and the Bulls just annihilated their Week 1 opponent by 45. And USF is now out for blood.
We are in BIG trouble.

Michigan is in trouble too. Neither QB gives me any confidence that they can meet the challenges that lie ahead. Texas has a pass rush that is going to spend a lot of time in Michigan's backfield, and the defense is going to get gassed due to being on the field too much, due to so many 3 and outs.
Based on yesterday's scores, and of course subject to change, I'd rank the teams like this.
1. JawJa
2. Ohio State
3. Texas
4. Oregon
5. Penn State

I'd put Michigan around 17 - 18 or so right now.
I didn't see Alabama play, but they should have enough talent to keep them above #15, and quite possibly in the top 10. They'll be a factor when the playoffs roll around.
Georgia: A+. Destroyed Clemson. lol, Dabo.
Texas: A+. Destroyed ColoState.
Vandy: A+. Dores beat VaTech!
Bama: C-. Meh win over Western Kentucky.
Kentucky: B+. Solid win over SoMiss.
TAMU: F-. lmao.
Oklahoma: B+. But it was Temple.
Auburn, Tennessee looked good, but it was against 1AA.
Florida. F-. Napier will be fired in Dec unless he turns it around.

Yeah, they didn't look great, but they have a boatload of talent and great coaching that will fix any problems they had against I-da-Hoe. They'll be a top 5 team before this is all over. We'll know a lot more after ohio visits Autzen.
I was thinking Ohio State could test them… not sure right now. Will Howard played fine, but Ohio State will perhaps regret not getting Cam Ward in the transfer portal. They might have had a shot with Ward because he can test a defense downfield and is just much better in general. Ohio State almost beating Georgia in the CFP due to the magic combination of Stroud + MHJ 2 years ago…
It’s a weird looking box score. No idea how Idaho stayed in the game despite Gabriel’s stats. I will have to read up into this game.
Idaho held Oregon to a 4th & 7 that could have made the game 20-14 late in the 4th quarter. However, they jumped offsides and Oregon went for it while scoring a game clinching TD. Idaho had a shot if they didn’t mess up there…
I love to see Brian Kelly eat shit but not so happy to learn that USC is good. I was expecting Michigan to start the Lincoln Riley death watch, now I’m hoping we can get a garbage time TD on their scrubs.
Kelly's post game rant is gold, I tell, ya, Jerry, gold.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
That LSU crowd is tough on HC's. Ed Ogeron won them a NC, and the next year they ran him out of town. Anyone who fails to recognize the coaching expertise of Ed Ogeron does not appreciate the spirit of college football.
While I hesitate to support LSU admin on anything, the firing of Ogre was righteous. He had covered up sexual assault by a star player. He even personally called the woman and asked her to forgive the player (Guice) lol. Throw in being the coach of a team that got hit by 3yrs of NCAA probation and being made to forfeit bowl games among 37 total wins was definitely enough to justify his firing. They even paid him $17 million to leave to keep him quiet (He knew of other skeletons). The shitty year he had after the NC just made it easier for them to can him. He was a dead man walking.
