The exodus is amazing. I thought DeBoer would have a hard time on the talent/roster end of things -- recruiting in the South. I still think that. I never thought UAT would lose as much talent as they are.
Julian Sayin hitting the portal -- and per "message board stuff" -- being pushed out by DeBoer -- holy fuck. That kid can play. He's either USC or OSU.
I guess that's what happens nowadays when you're roster is elite and lose a legend.

The thing with DeBoer is that you can win in the P12 or whatever other shitbird outpost you're coaching at even if you don't have elite talent. Because no one else does. But the SEC ain't no fucking joke. There is absolutely zero way you in that league by "outcoaching" everyone else with "nice" talent (#10-15 rankings-ish).

Per Tom Loy, Sayin will go to Ohio State. Now, Tom Loy is an Irish sunshine pumper to the Nth degree and anything positive he says about Notre Dame I take with a shit-ton of salt. BUT, when he's talking about disinterested situations, he usually knows what the fuck he's talking about.
So, I dunno. I know that Sayin was CRD's clear first choice for this class. I know he really likes Air Noland, but he loves Sayin. And I know his job is on the line and it's bring in the best time.
Which just means that Sayin will come to OSU, Noland will portal to M, Jaydn Davis will portal to Furman. And Noland will go 3-0 against Ohio State under the steady hand of My Sharona and I will quit watching CFB forever.
All because The Nick retired.
