Very random but I'm trying to catch up on hoops and noticed that Marquette has played an insane schedule to this point. Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, Texas, Kansas, and UCLA just 9 games into the season.

Marquette is legit despite their 2 losses.
Loved watching how they played in Maui. Awesome guard play and a big (Ighodaro) with a cool sounding last name. Despite Shaka Smart’s tourney struggles, that’s a recipe for a quality March Madness run. This is probably more like his VCU teams than Texas.

Amazingly, there are only 5 teams who have more Rose Bowl wins than Alabama. Alabama was a fairly regular Rose Bowl team before the bowl decide to close the doors to conferences other than the PAC and the Big. Only USC (25-9); Ohio State (9-7); Michigan (8-12); Stanford (7-6-1); and Washington (7-7-1) have more wins than Bama (5-1-1). UCLA is currently tied with Bama with a 5-7 record."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

Damn, I guess I forgot how dominant USC was in the Rose Bowl. Alabama gave them 1 of their 9 Rose Bowl losses (1946) and has a 6-2 record vs the Trojans overall head-to-head."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
