      • I absolutely hate this. My favorite fried seafood dive on Orange Beach gets more publicity:

        • lol, Saban has always hated depth charts - especially with an on-going QB battle. His solution? Just don’t release one:

The OSU xfer from a few years ago, DeVonta Smith (the DB) had made a ton of strides but here lately just can’t get healthy.

                • Alabama is a 39-point fav vs Middle Tennessee State.

MTSU is a scrappy 8-win CUSA team. I think we will win, but there is no way we cover. At all. This is easy money. Take MTSU and the points and get a little extra jingle in that pocket.

                  • I think Jalen Milroe will get the start Saturday.

Phenomenal athlete. Talk by was he was going to transition to RB a year ago or so. The thing is, the passing game was as confusing to him as hygiene and basic math is to Talent. Hopefully both of them are making strides, but I don’t have a lot of hope.

Ty Simpson is curious. Not sure who is advising him. I think he is the better true QB, but he spent the offseason out-of-state working with a QB guru. Jalen spent the off season doing skels with his teammates in Tuscaloosa. As a result, the team is firmly in Jalen’s corner.

They will all play, but Jalen will start.

In a way. HIs quirkiness about discussing football team related stuff is well established. I used to seek out his interviews - it took about 2y to realize he says nothing that is useful during them. He's death on injury discussions. If you're looking for an explanation of his offense or his play calling, you won't get it from him.

He likely has a staff member write a depth chart and it is common knowledge he doesn't use those things to decide who goes in, on the first play or any where else during the game.

I think he goes overboard whether it's intentional or not, he is a dick. He could be a lot more personable in interviews. I don't care. Win football games.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                      • I get it. Eisenhower didn’t have a press conference and discuss troop health or readiness unless it was a deception. There is no profit in providing intelligence to the media - and by extension- your enemies/opponents.

The line is now 40. This is free money. You can believe me or not, but if you don’t, you’ll wake up Sunday wrapped in regret.

Quinn Ewers and Johntay Cook II putting up big stats in early in the season highlight the bold predictions for Texas football in non-conference play.

I remember when we were feared. Wasn’t that long ago. Pity that.
