Regardless, the money is there. Thank god. And, amazingly, Newcastle have a real chance to be there. They probably need to win at least one of their next two road games and beat Spurs following that. But, it's all very much within reach!
And NUFC has been after Maddison for two windows now. He's out on a free transfer after next season. The price is coming down. I think it's more Spurs than Liverpool. The Reds are fully in the Bellingham sweepstakes against City.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Well, Bellingham prefers Liverpool (I think), but, yeah, cost definitely points him toward City -- who also need MF support.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

But, Liverpool have the same issue against Newcastle for Maddison. They can at least pay his 50M fee, but they can't match NUFC's coffers.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

The betting odds -- god bless Europe -- actually have Liverpool as the favorite, a little ahead of City and Real. Liverpool, though, aren't making the top 4 nor, TBH, do they deserve it. Lack of CL football may be enough to push him toward City.
"Remains" at Dortmund is actually 2nd best odds.
Even as a Newcastle fan, I'd prefer he end up in the EPL. He's really fun to watch and the alternative to the EPL is Dortmund -- who I won't see -- or Madrid -- who can go fuck themselves.
Liverpool would probably be my preferred outcome.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

South of Hadrian’s Wall, which Newcastle kinda sits on, I would go Mags, and Reds.
London area, Spurs!
