Ending to Texas A&M vs Bama was disappointing. Oh well. Entertaining game regardless of the outcome.

Ohio State should be ranked # 1 given Bama and Georgia’s recent struggles vs unranked teams. The Notre Dame team Ohio State faced being better than Missouri, Texas (injured QBs), and Texas A&M.

Bama was without their best QB but they still should have handled ATM better at home. Georgia is very good but not as dominant as last year.

Unfortunately this could all add up in ohio's favor. Nobody in the Big Ten is beating them, so their path to the playoffs is wide open.

M is clearly # 1 in the B10. Ohio State is probably 2nd, but they'll probably lose at HV.

It's still the SEC's world. No one in the B10 is beating Georgia or a fully healthy UAT team. No one.

I understand the purpose behind your touting M as "#1 in the Big Ten", but we both know that's just forum silliness. OSU is the conference juggernaut, and is in great position for a NC run this year. They get PSU in HV, and I'll agree that Coach Skinhead may have them hyped, but its going to take a lot more than hype to lay a L on OSU this season. Its going to take superior talent, and the only teams that fit that bill are in the SEC. There are none in the B1G. And CRD is still burning inside over the loss in A2 last season. He's not going to allow that to happen at the Shoe.

I agree that CFB is still the SEC's playground. But OSU is the only team outside that conference that has a shot at beating them. The seeding will go a long way in determining the winner. If OSU has to play both Bama AND Georgia in the playoffs, then that would suck for them. If they can manage to only play one of them, then they've got a legitimate shot at a NC.

Well, we disagree on how good M is. We also disagree on how hard it is for Ohio State to go to HV and get a win.

And Ohio State isn't remotely close to competing against the elite SEC teams. I'd be shocked if the SEC doesn't win again. But, if Bryce Young doesn't come back soon, UAT will lose. They may lose this week at Knoxville. But that won't cost them the West. If they don't have Young back by the time they go to Oxford then they're in some trouble.

Bama is Bama. Nick finds a way to win when it matters most. I'd be shocked if they lose in Knoxville. Tennessee has improved a lot, but I doubt that they've improved enough to handle the Tide. I agree that Nick needs Young back. If he gets him back healthy, then nobody is stopping the Tide until maybe the SEC CCG. I'm not sure how serious Young's arm injury is, but that is the only dent in Bama's armor at this point.
