                      He was just one of the issues. The biggest issue was our all-American OT, Chris Samuels, opted out to protect his draft status. I never forgave him. We would’ve won with him in the game or with a competent kicker.

                      Anyway, that was nearly 23-years ago. The genius of Mike Dubose. Time flies.

                      The last two Alabama-Michigan games have been more palatable.

                        Anyway, I’ve talked with Pflugner many times. He’s an orthopedic surgeon in Dothan. He’s still haunted by that game, and well he should be, but he was there and tried. Chris Samuels? Not so much.
