Great for Kentucky. Saw that they lost 33 of 34 to Florida prior to that win... something like that.
A lot of nice upsets in the top 15 yesterday.

There aren’t a ton of first round RBs in most drafts. It depends on the other people in the draft but I expect him to be 2nd or 3rd round at lowest. Anyway, we disagree and won’t agree. You asked for my opinion and I gave it. Time will tell.
2. I don’t think anyone in the know expected Metchie to be “the next Jeudy”. Jeudy was the past technical route runner we have ever had. Metchie is solid, but he isn’t Jeudy, Ruggs, Waddle, or DeVonta. He has 27 catches, which is more than Jameson, but for a lot lower avg ypc. And yeah, he does get most of the double coverages, but Jameson is right there with him.
Metchie. At least from an outside perspective, that's what people thought about Metchie. He would be their "next guy." Perhaps people closer to the Bama program had different expectations. It's clear and obvious that Metchie isn't Jeudy, Waddle, D Smith, or Ruggs.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

I don't disagree re Kentucky, AA, but it amuses me how fast a team can ascend with a win over a perceived very good SEC Team. Anyone who watched aTm knows they suck balls on offense. SUCK. BALLS. The fact that Arky housed them was a surprise in score only. Yet, Arky jumps to #8. And it's not just SEC teams....Penn State and Auburn played a pretty even game and Penn State jumped bigly after that close win, at home, at night against what is probably a top 20ish team.
I expect Kentucky to be at least #10. Maybe higher.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

Metchie is the “next guy” but no Bama fan who knows football expected him to be Jeudy (or any of our recent all-everything WRs). He’s solid. A good Div1 WR. Nothing all-world.
Final words on BRob: despite his 172 yards and 4TDs yesterday, with zero blocking assignments missed, he was still nursing a rib injury (which caused him to miss last week’s game). I’m much more concerned with Bryce’s long ball accuracy than anything in BRob’s game.

The upside is that they're starting to play more and more young kids on defense and the disastrous recruiting oi 2018 and 2019 is almost entirely processed out.
It's gruesome shit up here in God's Country, AA, but my alcohol supply is solid and Fall is my favorite season. So, I'll survive...barely. But, your concern is touching.

I wish we were averaging only giving up 10 points a game. We’re not in the top 25 in scoring defense.
Likewise, I wish we were averaging 51 points a game. Although that’s closer."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

Well, really, you’re in the know on Bama football. I’m no expert on Alabama, so I will defer to your deep knowledge of the team. Not even sure of their color scheme on the jerseys. Red? Blue? Purple. Wonder if that Bill Bryant is still coach? So, if I think the D is having real issues, it’s best to not listen to me. Just a few bumps in the road and they’ll win another championship? Writing that down. Done and done. Settled science. Thanks, man."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
