      • Well, my son's team ran into a buzz saw today. Mountain Brook was 12 deep and ran fresh bodies into the game to keep the pressure on the entire game. They are extremely well coached (that's how you win 6 state championships in 9 years with runner up thrown in for good measure) and run a very structured motion offense that spreads the floor. Their pressure and patience was exhausting. The SF coach didn't get the bench involved and by the middle of the third quarter our guys were gassed. They hung tough, but you could just see that it was just a matter of time before Mountain Brook pulled away. We were down by 4 at the end of the third, but ended up losing by 13. 56-43

Regardless of today's outcome, it was a hell of a run for Spanish Fort. The won 17 straight going into the game.

        • Impressive run for a school from a sparsely populated area. Congrats on the good run to your son.

That needs to be in the BigTen thread (his alma mater) or the BigXII thread (where he coaches now).

Make a similar gaffe and I shall upbraid you with a well-worn Dr. Seuss book.

                  • The incidents occurred at Louisiana State University, the spiritual leader of the Southeastern Conference.

Only took them <<checks watch>> eight years to investigate and file an internal report.

I have no doubt that they occurred at every place Miles has coached. You have already been dismissed. Do not task me again.

                        • There’s a reason he didn’t get the Michigan gig and it wasn’t his coaching ability.

                            • Really? I've not heard that.

                              Get with the program dumbass.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Seriously? I feel like it's been discussed a bunch of times. The story goes that Les slept with Moeller's wife, which directly led to Moeller's drunken restaurant incident that got him fired. Bo was on vacation in Mexico when that happened else he might've been able to save Gary. Lloyd and the rest of Moeller's staff hated Les after that which is why Lloyd fought against hiring him in 2008.

Don't know if it's true but it fits with stuff that IS known...why Moeller had a public meltdown, why Miles suddenly split for Oklahoma State, why Carr was adamant that Michigan not hire Miles (even though he unquestionably would've been better that Rich Rod).

I grew up about 15 minutes from Les' home town and I've met people that knew him when he was young and they claim he always had a rep as a womanizer.

Could all be bullshit but it's why I'm not remotely surprised if Les got too "hands on" with some college girls.
