It's too bad but you can only fire Jemele Hill once.

      • So uh...that huge hurricane that hit Nicaragua and Honduras is still a Tropical Storm. It drifted back out to sea and it's now expected to cross Cuba and the Florida Keys and possibly end up in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico where...who knows?

        • It will hit Louisiana in time for the LSU-Bama game.

Being that I have property is S. FL. I follow this stuff very closely and have some good sources outside of the NWS and NHC. Right now, there is no identifiable center of Eta and it is a Tropical Depression not a storm. It is very wide spread but is expected to become better organized over the next 48h as it passes toward then over Central Cuba. By Monday it will exit Cuba proper and push into the Western Caribbean. What it will look like as it emerges from Cuba is another unknown. A couple of models show it breaking apart and becoming a low pressure system. If it does stay organized as a tropical storm, how far east it then moves will determine its trajectory when it gets steered NNW bound. The further east it goes from Cuba, the more likely that it will affect S. FL.The less it moves east, the more likely it will skirt the FL Keys and head into the GOM.

Huge variation in model tracks that will resolve and form a consensus by Monday. That's because the amount of dry air this time of the year in the SE is going to get sucked into Eta as she moves NNW or NNE. What we are not going to see is a Cat II - IV hurricane spin up rapidly in the Caribbean and FL straights. This storm is more likely to be a Tropical event. That's not small potatoes. These have winds up to 70kts. My sources see a 50kt storm with lots of rain and potential flooding in S. FL even if Eta moves West into the GOM and misses the keys and S. FL completely. We'll probably see tropical storm warnings go up in S. FL by Sunday.

Too many variables to say what happens to Eta after Tuesday when and if it makes it into the GOM. November storms are the hardest to predict of any of the Hurricane's season's storms.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

              • Georgia looks beaten, but only down 7. Two many people banged up and a shitty QB.

Apparently so. Getting whacked at home vs Maryland 35-7 in the 3rd.

Kirby Smart wouldn’t have this issue if he started Fields instead of Fromm.

Dabo got it right in Clemson with the tough decision of Lawrence over Bryant.

                      • I’m glad he finally hasn’t been particularly adept at choosing QB starters. Wonder why JT Daniels isn’t playing?

                        • It’s bizarre. Thought JT Daniels showed flashes of looking good at USC. ... even in that week 1 game in 2019 when Daniels got hurt.

                          ...

I forgot about Jamie Newman. Newman would have been a difference maker at QB for Georgia. Really good anytime I watched Wake Forest over the years.

                          • Will be nice to see Bama at #1 again, deserving or not, so we can pad that ‘most weeks at AP #1’ stat:

                              • Husker head football coaches win percentage since “Dr.” Tom:

                                Frank Solich .753 (58-19)
                                Bill Callahan .551 (27-22)
                                Bo Pelini .713 (67-27)
                                Mike Riley .500 (19-19)
                                Scott Frost .346 (9-17)

Scott Frost would need to go 10-2 over his next 12 games to just EQUAL Mike Riley’s success. That’s kinda amazing.
