AlabamAlum is more like the Annie Lennox of the football blogosphere, a fellow Peat purveyor of detente. Calming all with his soothing voice of reason.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
LOL ... yeah we need to sue the bastard that failed to sweep the leaves off the steps like his wife told him to ...
I took my son in for his first post-surgery appointment today. Doc said its looking good. 4-5 more weeks in the hard cast, then 5-6 weeks in the walking boot. He's hoping to be back to work by the end of January, but we'll see.
Good luck finding a competent lawyer in this place...
By the time he started to have influence on US FP during his advisory roles with Nixon and then Ford and LBJ, his deal was withdrawal from all the silly engagements the US had gotten itself into - namely those in SEA - and to focus on the use of power where the US's interests were greatest.
He was instrumental in the US rapprochement with both China and USSR during the Nixon and later the Reagan years.
He was peace maker in that he believed in peace through strength - see his negotiations with Hanoi in Paris where he offered a peace deal with US withdrawal from the South but bombed the shit out of every living thing in the North until his North Vietnamese counterpart, Le Duc Tho, lying through his ass, agreed to Kissinger's terms ..... but, sure, we could debate this. Not here though.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
Listen, rightwinger. Kissinger was, at least, in part responsible for East Timor, Pol Pot's Killing Fields, and the massacre in Bangladesh. Throw in bombings in Cambodia and Laos and praising what little he did with withdraws after the fact in SEA is silly. Praising that is like someone praising me for removing the dagger I plunged in someone's chest.
"Look! He took the dagger out! What a nice guy!"

Just absurd ...... Alabama playing Western Carolina in week 12. How the fuck does that happen?
66-3 you know who. Silly.
