Crazy to see someone from LSU do this considering their QBs for the last decade plus. Mettenberger had one good season. Russell had a few excellent games. Outside of that? Just use to poor play from their QBs.

Your idiocy is duly noted. My answer is this...after the Mike Riley fiasco in Lincoln...the program was left in utter despair. Thanks to an idiot AD named Eichorst dismembered the program by hiring Smilin' Mike...this is what we were left with. I know a few people in Lincoln that are close to FROSTY!!! and his initial reaction when he saw what was left here...the players...the lack of the old UNL way of doing things...etc...he was shocked. I think he underestimated to depth of crap that was left here. I think FROSTY!!! will eventually get us back but it will take 4-5 years...
