A lot of the defensive two-deep are bruised and banged-up after facing these chippy cut blocking bastards from Charleston. The worst is probably starting DB Deionte Thompson who took a cheap shot helmet to the knee away from the play. DL Quinnen Williams was the recipient of a cut back block away from the play, and he is a bit gimpy. OL Alex Leatherwood has an ankle and RB Damien Harris has a "mild" concussion. WR Jerry Jeudy is now gimpy, as well.
I hope the Citadel's team plane goes down. Harsh? Okay, I hope when it goes down they don't die, but they are all in body casts for 6 months. I'll settle for IU's Tom Allen falling in the shower and suffering a concussion, a bruised hip and a broken wrist, then have to gimp around on the sidelines with a walker v. Purdue. ......painful and completely deserved.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off.
