No, 5 minutes total. For the whole game as white, 4 minutes total, the whole game, for black. If you run out of time you lose, unless there is not enough material on the board to mate with, then it would be drawn, but in this case, black wins with a draw.

Time increment of 3 seconds means that 3 seconds is added to your time after each move (as long as you have time left), so, if I have 1 minute and 3 seconds when I make my 30th move, 3 seconds are added and I have 1 minute and 6 seconds on the clock.

I rather doubt there's a single move in the first 5 of any opening that isn't unknown.

1. It's more than just the doubled pawns. It's agressive and attacking and Sicillian players have deep book and thematic discipline. This gets them out of their briar patch a bit.

2. When I say "known" I mean facing it at least once in a previous tournament. Which Magnus has. The post mortem done after usually goes to some deep research.
