Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

We, of course, have to define "good". I use it here as consistent with the other P5 conferences. Use "on par with" if you prefer. I hesitate to restrict timeframes to less than a four or five year window. The power of stats need ample sample size. You just don't have that with two years.

Mullen may be a really good coach -- I tend to think he is, in fact, pretty good -- but Starkvegas has it's own ceiling.
Agree. Never would have dreamt Bert would be 10-23 in conference at this point. Sumlin is a good X's coach but he's lost the team. I think Mullin is good but winning in Starkville, as you note, is a Herculean task.

      • Give it up, fucktard ...... the SEC sucks.

Wiz, help me out here man.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

See, to me it seems like you may be pulling in the tail end of the good run to"average up" the more recent results.

We agree that the ole SEC she ain't what she used to be, ain't what she used to be

Ahh, I get it now. Sometimes I'm slow. You're just trolling. Have a good one. Got me.

Funny, the guys here used to chalk it up to trolling when they couldn't accept the truth I brought about the SEC superiority during that run too. Guess if you CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH, just cry troll. Liney used to get so pissed when I brought up how good Saban is.

Btw, not sure you know, but We are Crimson Tide brethren of a sort. I married into it. Wife is a double alum. Roll Tide. Rest of the conference is bad.

                  • What?

You're either a troll or your reading comprehension is so poor a conversation would waste my time and yours. I can re-type what I wrote again, but I can't understand it for you and I have neither the time nor the inclination to attempt to do so. So, sure, cherry pick, or limit sample size to reduce statistical power to an even more unreliable level, trot out strawmen, or engage in ad hominems or whatever you want. In the end, you come across like a barely literate, mouth-breathing fucktard and I would be content if you just went and got your bouncy red ball and played in traffic. Whichever you choose, I have no more time to waste on the impossible task of educating you considering your room temp IQ.

                      • AA is great at repurposing dialogue from Aaron Sorkin, the Coen Brothers and JFC.

                        • I do love the Coen Bros; however, despite the time/inclination line, that's not meant to be a borrowed Sorkin rant. It does have some of the same meter, though. So if it is, it is unintentional.
