Hating on the $EC - Mostly Alabama (and a little Georgia too)

The Vols return 17 starters. They have good depth behind those starters, ended the season winning 6 of their last 7. Only loss in that stretch was to Bama (by 5), in Tuscaloosa, where they had a 4th quarter lead. They ended the year 9-4, but two (OU and Florida) of the four losses were flukey - and they could have won them all."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

I'm a realist, we lost a lot, we have a horrible sched, and we have won 4 of the last 7 NCs. To do that, the ball bounced our way some. This year will be Bo Scarbrough and Damien Harris. Bo is a beast, and had a higher ypc than anyone last year, including Henry, but that was in very limited mop-up duty. And this is the first year that the chain is broken: the RB1 this year is not the RB1 or RB2 from the previous year. I remember watching Lacy for the first time. It was mop up duty, maybe agains Ole Miss. The Tide needed a garbahe TD to cover and they kept handing the ball off to this offensive guard in backfield and he kept tearing off chunks. Tide scored and covered! God bless that giant bowling ball of a back!
Now, enough with your sandbagging. JFA.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

The thing is, he's built like an O-lineman but he has a great burst and that spin move breaks ankles. Packers got a good one."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

One last thing re: Lacy. That NC game vs Notre Dame. Just football porn. He had 20 carries for 140 yards and none longer than 15-20 yards. Just a relentless battering ram of 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12 yard carries."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
