Orgeron fell ass-backwards into a great team. He was never particularly competent. I don't know what the ostensible reasons for firing him were and if they were "righteous" -- but based on pure competence the firing was necessary. Hiring BK, of course, was fucking looney tunes.
Don't get me wrong -- BK is clearly better than Mike Price Lite. And unless BK manages to kill a few of his own star players, UAT is in for a world of hurt. But, in the grand scheme of things BK is not a top-shelf hire.
