Still found it strange (and sad) he was on during the B10 CCG begging for a playoff spot. You would think Kevin Warren would have a say in it, not a big deal it didn't bother me. I loved Kevin Warren acting like Gary Bettman when he was booed at the podium. He didn't like it.

In a fair world, the SEC CCG halftime show would have had Franklin campaigning that Penn State only lost 2 games- to the #2 and #4 ranked teams earlier in the season AND they decisively beat an SEC team on the road.
It was a really bad take from Saban and made him look undignified. I'll assume it was more about placating the fan base than anything else. It's quite obvious to anyone who follows football that a two loss team that didn't win jack squat isn't going to a four-team playoff.
I felt the same. I actually have some respect for Nick and what he's done at Alabama. But to be begging for a playoff spot during the Big Ten CCG was akin to Scott Frost begging for a 1/2 championship after his Huskerz beat Peyton Manning.

I think it was so he could have his players see him lobbying for them. I don’t think he really cares about the fans’ feelings. He never has previously.
I don’t like it. They show every coach of every team without an assured spot stumping for his team. Meh.
