Conditional wager accepted. However, please note I have said I think it's an issue if TCU gets blown out. For purposes of wager, I'll give you some leeway on blowout.

Terms: IF TCU loses by less than 21 AND USC wins, THEN Alabam"Alum" says Ohio State makes playoff and The Talent says TCU makes playoff.

Stakes: Pride + modest monetary and/or tagline bet to be agreed to by parties.

Persons who can still GFY: THE_WIZARD, Mike, "Dr." Strangelove and Cody Russell.

    • Its not hard. You can do hundreds of iterations to see who's in and who's out but it comes down to Mike's post above.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they want to match up Michigan with USC in the Fiesta to create a Rose Bowl type game out west. You could also argue that TCU is the weakest of the 4 teams so the the top seed should draw them.

But the main takeaway is that the last spot will be decided between USC and OSU.
I don’t. TCU doesn’t have the respect. They lose their last game and I think they’re out. And honestly, taking a one loss Ohio State over a one loss TCU team is completely defensible.

Done. If you win, I’m sending you a book (that I have meant to send you anyway), a Greg Cadaret baseball card and a Jim Jackson baseball card as well as a can of vienna sausages, a bag of grits, and some pork skins!

Yes, agree. I’d rather M play TCU than USC.
M lost the last few bowl games vs USC… though it was the Pete Carroll USC teams. Also, figuring out how to stop Caleb Williams and that offense seems like a pain.

If TCU needs to be blown out to lose their playoff spot, I can’t see that happening. At worst, it will be a close loss vs K-State for them.

So it all comes down to USC vs Utah…

                    • I assumed you were, as per usual, entirely wrong on the Jim Jackson thing.

Is the UAT fight song the one that says RAMMER JAMMER over and over and over? Or is it the Skynrd song?

                        • Here are the lyrics:

                          Yea, Alabama! Drown ’em Tide!
                          Every ‘Bama man’s behind you,
                          Hit your stride.
Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave.
And if a man starts to weaken,
                          That’s a shame!
For Bama’s pluck and grit have
Writ her name in Crimson flame.
Fight on, fight on, fight on men!
Remember the Rose Bowl, we’ll win then.
                          Go, roll to victory,
                          Hit your stride,
                          You’re Dixie’s football pride,
Crimson Tide, Roll Tide, Roll Tide!!

                            • It's a null wager if USC loses. Ohio State is getting in if USC loses. You wouldn't be able to assess causation.

                              • This Yankees card of Greg Cadaret is from 1990. I think it’s worth 73 cents.

And the Jim Jackson basketball card is from 1997. I can’t find a value for it, but I am sure it’s priceless.

The book I’m sending you plus the canned and bagged meat snacks makes this a prize package worth upwards of $7.
