Desmond was a great receiver at M, but he was no Anthony Carter. He had a remarkable pro career. He was a Super Bowl MVP.
The Heisman doesn't lie in his case.
As a commentator, he's light years ahead of Finebaum in the arena of intelligence and football knowledge.
About all Finebaum knows is how to sit on a toilet. And he likely needs help with that too."in order to lead America you must love America"

I'd rather listen to Desmond talk football than just about anyone at Fox Sports. Herbstreit at ABC/ESPN is probably the fairest to Michigan among former bucknuts and is tolerable, IMO.
Most other sportscasters can go suck dishwater as far as I'm concerned."in order to lead America you must love America"

Liney,
I like him as a player. I think he’s a funny guy but his commentary and insight? Woof.
But the network likes him and I suppose his Q score is high enough to keep him on the set.
Anyway, we’ll never agree on Desmond, but we don’t have to."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
