No our offense did not dominate. Our defense absolutely shoved it up your ass. No first downs in the second half?
3 losses. Minimum. Just calling it like I see it.
Considering where Dantonio left the program, a 9-3 season for MSU would be a helluva accomplishment by them. Attrition, discipline, and recruiting were all in pretty bad shape when Mel Tucker took over.
I know right, 3 losses would be a dream season. Vegas has the total at 4.5 wins. I thought the Spartans left 7 points on the board in the first half. Again, I thought Nebraska was the better team, but you do actually have to be able to punt if you are going to rely on the defense. Being a crybaby about the loss is no good, keep a stiff upper lip.
I'm not disputing either of those posts. I'm disputing that Sparty is a contender in the East. They are no better than 4th in the East at best...and probably about even with Rutgers...maybe even Indiana. But you are clearly better than the Terps.
I don't see any winnable road game, so that's five losses right there. (Wisc, Neb, MSU, PSU, Maryland)
At home they're now likely to lose to Indiana, (who is definitely better than Rutgers), and we don't even discuss a win on Thanksgiving weekend anymore.
So yeah, .. 7 losses is possible.
I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle
