but I suspect tailgates and CFB games on crisp sunny Saturdays will continue to be enjoyed by millions of fans nation wide.

I doubt that will be necessary in Mt. Pleasant or Adrian.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Someone in the Big Ten needs to be speaking to just about every team remaining in the Big XII. We can live without WVU.
I'd have no problem with taking on Okie State, both teams from Kansas and Iowa State. WVU can go to the ACC.
For divisions, I'd bring Purdue, NW, Illinois and Wisconsin into the BTE, and send all four newbies into the BTW.
I'd also look for negotiations to take place between the Big Ten and Pac 12 to form some sort of alliance, and also bring in the Rose Bowl to preserve that tradition."in order to lead America you must love America"

WEST
Kansas
Nebraska
Iowa
Iowa State
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Northwestern
Illinois
If we added all 4 then two teams in the West would have to switch. But if we're going to go to 18 or even 20 teams, then we honestly need to at least TRY and land bigger fish than Kansas State or Oklahoma State.

Seriously, though, a full SEC schedule adding Texas and Oklahoma is going to be difficult to navigate and go undefeated. Expect Finebaum to begin lobbying for at least 6 SEC teams to automatically qualify in the 12-man playoff.
The B10 has said it was only going to allow AAU teams into the conference. USC and Washington?? I still say Virginia is the best get.

I would be fine with Virginia and actually prefer them to any of the Big12 leftovers, but I'm not sure how much mutual interest there is. There was a lot of talk about us approaching them the last big realignment rodeo that came to nothing. Maybe things have changed
I don't see the Pac12 stuff happening unless it's for football only.
