There was no 10 second run off because the penalty has to cause the clock to stop. The clock was stopped on the first down. Had they not gotten the first down, then there would have been a run off.
The refs got it right. ( as well as the review that the clock had run out before the snap)I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it onComment

I do not believe the 10-second run off is in play because the clock would have stopped with the first down. Memphis will give Ole Miss a game.
Tennessee plays A&M and Bama in back to back weeks and then A&M plays Bama Oct. 22. So by then there'll only be 1 undefeated SEC team, at most.Comment

Missouri, Vandy, South Carolina, and Kentucky are all bad teams and should be easy wins for the teams that play them. Memphis may give Ole Miss a game, probably not.
