  • The no-show car dealership job rumors go back to Cooper, at minimum.

    • The no show car dealership jobs are so 1970's.

Today they "lease" Escalades to aunties, cousins and girlfriends.

      • Cars have a huge paperwork trail. It’s just not smart.

I knew a player who had a job at a pool company. He was paid $8/hr. His job was to fill 18 residential pools for the summer. He’d clock in, drive to one of the 18 booster’s houses, put the garden hose in it, and leave for the next house. He’d come back 12 hours later and turn the water off and drive to the office to clock out. Took about an hour and a half to turn them all on and an hour and a half to turn them all off. The time in between he played tennis or video games. It took 3 days of doing this to fill the pools with the hose. Each booster tipped him $500-$1000 when he was done.

So, for 10 hours total (including drive to/from the office) of work over 3 days he was paid about $300 in wages and $12,000 in tips (that he didn’t declare, of course). There was a record of him clocking in and out and security footage of him doing so, and no one would question a one-time $300 payroll check, but if they did, it was covered.

        • Your story is akin to Trump finally admitting he lost the election. That he lost was obvious despite his foolish denials and assertions that the election was stolen. We all knew better.

Well, no shit, Bama cheats and has been doing it for decades.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

          • I tried to come up with various ways to say he earned the tips by being really good handling a hose. But none really satisfied me.

This kid was NOT at the University of Alabama. The school
would surprise you, but I won’t say which on a public forum.

Sounds like a Penthouse Letter. Is that what you were going for?

                          • Boy, Alabam"Alum" is sure living the dream. CFP NC. Tennessee manages to somehow disgrace themselves well-beyond all previous efforts which were outstanding in their own right. And UAT is apparently CBB Lakers -- probably a 4 point favorite over Gonzaga right now....IN SPOKANE, bitches!

If only he didn't have to deal with the rabble on his thread like The Wizard and his struggling protege, "Dr." Strangelove.

                              • We’re 18th in the AP now. If we can hold serve against MissState Saturday, we should be top 15. Maybe as high as 12th.
