Ohio State manhandled Clemson on both sides of the ball. Both Clemson lines were just abused by TOSUC. With Bama missing our All-American center and struggling on the line against ND, this will get ugly. Very ugly. If Ohio State could field it's all-time defense -- bring back all it's best players, in their prime -- then they might hold UAT under 50. Lamentably, time-travel technology being what it is, they cannot.
I think The Nick takes his foot off the gas a little toward the end.

Incidentally, just imagine how bad Coastal Carolina or Iowa State would beaten Clemson last night!Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Well, Alabama had Derrick Henry and TJ Yeldon in the 2014 season Ohio State vs Alabama game and that wasn’t enough.
If you compare 2014 Alabama vs 2020 Alabama, Mac Jones is the biggest difference because he is clearly better than Blake Sims. 2014 Alabama had a similar WR core than 2020. Better defense? Better OLine? Lane Kiffin as OC + Kirby Smart as DC.
I would bet on Ohio State barring the Fields ribs situation. This 2020 Ohio State team reminds me of 2014 because they playing with an “us against the world” mindset right now.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

We couldn’t stop Elliott in that game. We lost by a TD but it felt like a lot more. We won’t be able to stop Sermon in this game. Our WRs are a lot better than 2014. QB is accurate but can’t run. My logic with saying 2020 and 2014 Alabama WRs are similar is:
- 2014, you had Amari Cooper (4th overall NFL draft choice) and a bunch of JAGS after that.
- 2020, you have Devonta Smith (probable Heisman winner and top 10 NFL draft choice) and a bunch of JAGS after that. Though Metchie appears to be solid.
Ok, you can say the 2020 core is better, but IMO, it’s not going to be that significant of a difference vs Ohio State.
This is where I wish Waddle was healthy.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

Devota is better than Amari Cooper. Metchie is much better than any #2 from 2014. Hell, Slade and Xavier Williams are as good or better than our 2014 #2’s.
This year’s WR corps is easily better."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
