Ohio State would run those guys. It’s amazing that Mac Jones and Trask are the Heisman frontrunners and Fields and Lawrence are afterthoughts. Such a stupid year.

Oh, I absolutely think Mac has earned his Heisman mentions. He had the highest P5 QBR heading into yesterday’s game against 9 SEC opponents. The stats will be updated later today, but by just eyeballing his comp, I don’t see that changing. The Alabama offense is humming and he is a huge reason. His stat line across 10 SEC games is ridiculous.
Also, the scuttlebutt is that Mullen didn’t even work on a LSU gameplan. He decided to go vanilla for them and spend LSU week preparing for Bama instead. God, I hope that’s true. lol.
And, yeah, upsets happen. You can get caught flatfooted and lose to some unranked team. I know it happens. At least to most teams.

Dan Mullen takes swipe at Ohio State after loss to crippled LSU team:
"I know we've played 10 games. I guess probably the best thing to do would've been to play less games. You seem to get rewarded for not playing this year."
lmao. No, Dan, how about you don’t let your players get unsportsmanlikes and get handed your second L by a shitty LSU team.

I think ESPN mentioned LSU was playing with ~50 scholarship players. On top of that, LSU suffered several injuries in the game. Specifically their top two RBs didn’t play in the 2nd half and a starter on the OLine went down.
The LSU QB is a true freshman.
Very stinky loss for Florida.
Bama will beat them like 62-27. High scoring blowout.
Any given day and all that. But this is an unforgivable loss, Danny boy. No playoff for you even if you beat Bama. Stop trying to make this about Ohio State’s sched.

I honestly think it will be a 48-45 game. Our D is not good. With Harris probably out, ouch.

ESPN will start carrying Mullen's water roughly 10 hours ago when they lost. They spent considerable time pushing the "if Clemson and Florida both win; OSU is out" narrative last week. Nothing I've seen from that organization suggests to me they'll take their foot off that gas pedal just because Florida lost to an LSU JV team in a hugely down year for LSU.
Florida seems to lose every fifth game anyway. They were 4-1. If they had stopped after 5 (or 6) they'd still get pipped by Ohio State.
Of course, that won't matter because Ohio State not playing the likes of Illinois, Maryland and M their resume is incomplete. I wonder -- when was the last time anyone, anywhere thought a win over Illinois or Maryland meant something? LOL.
