Seems like if she were truly a player of the week, she'd have kicked a game winning FG or something. But, a kickoff?

I just went back and rewatched it. I have the ball traveling 27 yards before it hits the ground. I’m thinking maybe that was by design to avoid a return situation where she’d be fair game to get hit. But it’s just more contrived woke bullshit. Even my wife thought it was “fucking stupid”.

Pissed about the coach being fired or for being involuntary members of a photo-op?
Edit: Just did a little searching and realize it’s the latter. She gave a halftime speech to try to fire up the team! L.O.L. Apparently, she’s going to be the starting kicker this week. I’m sure 300 lb linemen who worked out in the Nashville heat all summer were very moved by her words.
The link requires a credential but this was posted at Tiger Droppings.
“With Vanderbilt trailing 21-0 at halftime, Fuller decided she wanted to address the team. “If I’m going to be honest, I was a little pissed off at how quiet everybody was on the sideline,” she said. “We made a first down, and I was the only one cheering and I was like — what the heck? What’s going on? And I tried to get them pumped up.” She said she compared it to Vanderbilt soccer’s SEC tournament-winning run, when the team was “cheering the entire time.” “I just went in there and I said exactly what I was thinking. I was like, ‘We need to be cheering each other on. This is how you win games. This is how you get better is by calling each other out for stuff, and I’m going to call you guys out. We need to be supporting one another. We need to be lifting each other up. That’s what a team’s about,'” Fuller said. “I think this team has struggled, and that’s been part of it. “We really just need to build that team camaraderie where they can all lean on one another. It was an adjustment going from that team mentality where — hey, we’re all here supporting one another — and I just wanted to bring that to this team.”Last edited by Mike; December 3, 2020, 04:49 PM.

Yeah, I saw an article on ESPN today that Mason’s firing demonstrates the SEC’s lack of diversity. Not sure if it mentioned his 0-8 record this season.
Re: Fuller. She’s traveling with the team to Georgia this Saturday. What the hell is UGA supposed to do if there ends up being an actual kick return opportunity?? Will the woke folks be singing the same tune if she ends up looking out her ear hole? Of course not. They’ll want to tar and feather the player who hits her.Last edited by Mike; December 3, 2020, 05:58 PM.
