  • Eventually it's going to cost him in QB recruiting.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
    Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

    • Agreed. I can’t imagine being a top QB and considering Georgia.

      • His offensive approach seems very dated. I'd put him in the HARBAUGH!!! camp circa 2016.

        • Scheme aside. There is no offense known to man where Justin Fields isn’t better than Fromm.

              • Wins vs. No. 1 teams

Saban's 7-3 career record against teams ranked No. 1 in The Associated Press poll is remarkable for numerous reasons, including that he had won five straight before running into LSU last season.

                • Saban vs. top-5 teams

Alabama’s win over No. 5 Georgia was Saban’s 25th career victory against a team ranked in the top five of the AP Top 25.

That's the most in college football history.

Overall, Saban’s 25-15 career record in top-five contests gives him a .625 winning percentage, which is also the best.

Following Saban on the all-time victory list are Bobby Bowden (18/.378 winning percentage), Barry Switzer (15/.516), Woody Hayes (15/.516), Steve Spurrier (15/.429) and Lou Holtz (15/.419).

Correct. But, Jimmy crack corn and I don't fucking care! Thank you, Kirby!

                      • And it would be hilarious if Georgia and OSU met in the CFP and Justin railed UGA. I would enjoy that about as much as any non-Alabama game ever played.

                        • Last night was Mike Leach’s 234th game as a head coach and the first of his teams to ever suffer a shutout.

Hopefully, this means the Alabama D is starting to gel and not just some false result against a team that has completely given up.

His handling of Fields will go down as one of the worst coaching decisions ever. He's really lucky that this season may get washed out and is, at a minimum, asterisk'd. But, there's just zero excuse for not involving Fields in the offense as frosh and giving him a legit chance a soph.

                            Oh well. Fields is good.

                              • As long as OSU can get to 6 games it's in the CFP. I don't see the B1G getting to championship week though.
                                Shut the fuck up Donny!
